How Liberal Arts Prepares You for the Job Market
Our current education model says that students need to go to this college, to get this degree, in order to get this particular job. But in reality, over sixty percent of graduates do not end up in a job that their education trained them for. Over ninety percent of businesses view a prospective hire’s “capacity to think critically, to communicate clearly, and to solve complex problems as more important than his or her undergraduate major.” This is why the liberal arts tradition has for centuries and continues to prepare men and women to be leaders in the arenas where God calls them. Please join this workshop to find out more about why Google, Mark Cuban (owner of the Dallas Mavericks), and others have changed the way they view those who have been educated in the liberal arts.
