Volunteer FAQ’s
Do you really need my help?
YES! Our convention is run entirely by volunteers, from the children’s program workers to the board of directors. In order to serve the homeschool community and keep costs low, 100% of the proceeds from the convention go right back into inspiring, promoting, and protecting home education in Idaho.
What is the length of time I will serve?
Can I volunteer with my children?
Otherwise, most volunteer jobs are best filled by adults.
Do I have to miss workshops if I volunteer?
Not all volunteer jobs coincide with workshops. There are opportunities to serve pre- and post-convention.
Digital audio recordings of the 2023 Homeschool Idaho Convention will be made available for on-demand listening, making it easy to catch any workshops that you might miss attending live.
Will I receive any kind of training?
What are the benefits of volunteering?
First and foremost, you get the satisfaction of knowing that you are impacting the lives of thousands of Idahoans in a positive way.
