Graduate Biographies
Parents and students will work together to write a graduate biography for the printed program.
All bios must be submitted by February 1st.
Writing Your Graduate’s Bio
The graduation program will include a brief biography and head-shot photo of each graduate.
Parents and graduates should work together to write the student bio. Please triple-check your student bio for correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar. Pro tip: Compose your bio on a document on your computer. After you and your parents are satisfied with any and all edits, copy and paste the final version into the submission form.
Graduate bios must be submitted by February 1.
Bios should include the following info:
- Full name of graduate
- Names of parents
- Hometown
- List of graduate accomplishments
- Future plans
- Favorite Bible verse or quotation.
- Honor Cord recipients, Congressional Medalists, Awana Citation, and National Merit Finalists will be listed on separate pages in the program.
Kendra Niccole Smith
Daughter of Tom and Marie Smith, Emmett
Accomplishments: Kendra has thoroughly enjoyed her homeschool years, pursuing her passion for volleyball. She played club volleyball for eight years, and was awarded Best and Brightest during her Senior year. Kendra also travelled to Haiti to help build homes for the homeless with her church youth group. She is an accomplished photographer and singer, and our family’s resident comedian.
Future Plans: Kendra will be attending Boise State on a volleyball scholarship. Go Broncos! She plans to study business and/or athletic training. She also hopes to marry a fellow athlete who laughs at all of her jokes and sings along with her in the car.

John Jacob Smith
Son of Christopher and Darla Smith, Coeur d’Alene
Accomplishments: Johnny has been playing the piano for ten years and often shares his talent by playing at church and nursing homes. Johnny recently completed a Senior project of a ground-up restoration of a classic ’64 Volkswagen bus with his father. Johnny has accomplished 13 years of the AWANA program and is currently writing a novel.
Future plans: Johnny is looking forward to attending the College of Western Idaho where he plans to earn a certificate in automotive maintenance. He endeavors to publish his first novel within a year.
