Legislative Day

Volunteer to Make Pies

What would “Pie Day” be without delicious homemade pies? Our goal is 250 whole pie donations to have enough to serve legislators, staff and other guests at the capitol.

All flavors of pie are welcome! Sugar-free and gluten-free pies are always greatly appreciated by those on special diets. Please clearly label these special pies with a list of the ingredients. We are not able to return pie pans, so please bake them in disposable tins.

Whether you are able to make one pie or several of your family favorites, your contribution is greatly appreciated.

Donating a pie is easy and convenient!

Treasure Valley Drop-Off

Deliver your pies to a drop-off location
on Tuesday, 2/11, the day before Legislative Day.
We have locations in Emmett, Caldwell, Nampa, Meridian, Eagle, and Boise.

Capitol Steps Drop-Off

Drop your pies off at the Capitol step on Jefferson Street from 8:15-9:00 on Legislative Day, Wednesday,  2/12. There is no need to park, or even get out of your car. When you pull up to the front of the Capitol, please look for our signs indicating for you to pull up onto the sidewalk in front of the steps leading to the Liberty Bell. The Capitol was designed for cars to pull up for unloading  in this area, and our wonderful Teen Volunteers will help you.

Looking to be more involved?

This event is sponsored by Homeschool Idaho,
but we could not do it without the help of families just like yours.
We would love to have you join us this year!
